This is an invitation card for Nadia's 'Akad Nikah' so the order quantity is limited to only 200 pieces. The artwork is here. Looking at the budget, I suggested the 230gsm fine vein textured paper, not the common 260gsm art card. It provides a 'classic look & feel' to the cards. I love the colour combo. It is daring but not over the top.

It all ends well
Not all ideas come in an instant. There area times it took me several drafts before I'd come up with 'the one' design to work with. One such hurdle happened while I was working with Sharifah Munirah's order. After more than two weeks and three drafts later that I finally managed to put together a design which we both agreed on. Thanks Munirah for your patience.
The first two drafts
The final artwork, using autumn colour palette, ready for printing
On the left, double-sided 166mm x 90mm invitation card.
On the right, two 2' x 6' hanging banner/buntings.

Dotty Doily
Ramadan is coming to its end and Aidilfitri is fast approaching. I am finalizing a few orders before going on 5-day raya break.
This invitation is for the ceremonial 'Akad Nikah' of Nadia & Imran. Nadia ordered her cards to be designed with doily papers. I will, later, glue the doily papers manually onto the cards, like I did here and here. The background was originally in pink but later changed to gray/silver as requested by Nadia. The same design is applied to the thank you tags & banner. I think the cards look cute, don't they?
Congrats Nadia & Imran!

Love is like a butterfly...
"Love is like a butterfly, it goes where it pleases and it pleases wherever it goes."
Farah adores butterflies. One would immediately take a note seeing three out of her five sample pictures have butterflies on them. The idea came instantly.
Butterflies are usually identified with gracefulness and agility. But I wanted to do something classic, with dark, contrast colours that shout boldness. Thankfully, Farah agreed to this and gave the green light to use my own ideas. And these are the artworks I came up with.
Farah took the RM450.00 package which comes with fully personalized design with no extra charge.
